I found out blacklisting existed, for the purpose of silencing people that defied certain government groups and or secret services. In the UK right now this takes the form secret courts that can find you guilty of crimes without trial and lock you up, until these powers are taken away from the people that use them there will no end to silencing and censorship whether it is used on whistle-blowers or inspectors. Speaking your mind is not a crime and shouldn't carry a sentence behind it.
